Kate grew up in the wild and beautiful Devon countryside. After studying at Durham University and the Courtauld Institute of Art, she worked as an international art consultant. While curating collections for palaces and embassies in Europe and the Middle East, she dreamt of writing full time.
When the family left London to travel the world and move to the orange groves of Valencia, Kate had the chance to write her first novel.
She now lives in the Middle East with her family, and writes a daily column for writers juggling their work with family life. Kate has written for publications including Conde Nast Traveller, Blueprint and Arts Business Today, and is currently working on her new novel.
